Actors Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu starred in the classic idol drama "Meteor Garden" and formed the group F4, becoming popular all over Asia. After disbanding in 2009, the four only reunited once during the 2013 Spring Festival Gala and have not appeared together since.
Recently, it was rumored that B’in Music, to which Mayday belongs, has the intention of facilitating a reunion. Following Vic Chou’s earlier statement that “he also hopes for a reunion,” Ken Chu also responded.
Addressing the rumors of an F4 reunion, Ken Chu recently made a response during a live stream, stating, “F4 was just the beginning for us, but it did indeed disturb a lot of things in our lives,” candidly admitting that the group was a “love-hate relationship” for him, exclaiming that “the things you love and the things you hate are actually the same.”
Ken Chu further mentioned the possibility of a reunion, confessing that he actually hopes for an F4 reunion as well because, being older now, he faces physical constraints, so he wishes to experience the energetic feeling again before his health declines further, expressing confidence by stating, “Eventually it will happen. I have that confidence,” but also revealing, “Whenever it comes to the four of us, I'm never the first to reject, nor am I the last to agree,” indicating a considerable willingness towards reuniting.
However, Ken Chu also candidly admitted on the live stream that “there is currently no notification about a reunion,” even blurting out, “I really want to have a reunion, but it's just not possible,” and openly acknowledged, “We indeed don’t even have each other’s contact information,” revealing that he doesn't keep in touch with the other three privately. Previously, B’in Music responded to questions about an F4 reunion by saying they “don’t know.”
