(Kuala Belait, 14th) The Brunei Hakka Association will be holding a Qingming memorial ceremony on the 29th of this month (Sunday) to express reverence for ancestors and promote filial piety. All directors and members are sincerely urged to actively participate in the event.
The event will start at 7:30 a.m. that day with morning tea at the association, and will set off at 8:00 a.m. to three cemeteries in the Mashee area for the ancestral rites.
The itinerary includes the first stop at the hillside Chinese cemetery, the second stop at the seaside Chinese cemetery, and the last stop at the Tengku Hill Chinese cemetery. Lunch will be provided for attendees after the ceremony.
