Car Overturns Out of Control on Avenue in the Early Morning; Driver and Passenger Unharmed

(Penang, 24th) A car lost control and overturned at the 226km mark of the North-South Expressway (in the Kepala Batas, North Seberang Perai area). Fortunately, both the driver and the passenger inside the car were unharmed.
The Penang Fire and Rescue Department issued a statement on Sunday (August 24), stating that the department received a report at 5:50 a.m. today (24th), indicating that a traffic accident had occurred at the scene.
After investigation, it was found that there were two people in the involved car, namely the driver and a passenger; neither was trapped inside the vehicle.

The Kepala Batas Fire Station, about 13 kilometers from the accident site, immediately dispatched personnel to the scene. The rescue team arrived at 6:08 a.m. and began rescue operations, which were successfully completed by 6:53 a.m.
A total of nine firefighters, including the commander, participated in the operation. Police were also present at the scene to assist with handling the aftermath.
