On the 2nd, Cleveland police in Ohio discovered the bodies of two young girls, each hidden inside a suitcase and buried. Subsequently, the girls' mother, Aliyah Henderson, was arrested in connection with the case. She is currently charged with two counts of murder.
According to ABC, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office in Ohio stated that the two victims were daughters of Henderson with different fathers: 8-year-old Mila Chatman and 10-year-old Amor Wilson. Both bodies were severely decomposed.
Prosecutors accused 28-year-old Henderson of causing the deaths of her two daughters. On the 6th, Cuyahoga County Judge Jeffrey Johnson set her bail at 2 million US dollars (about 7.87 million Malaysian ringgit).
Cleveland Police Chief Todd stated that the cause of the girls’ deaths and how long their bodies had been abandoned are still unclear. In addition, when Henderson was arrested, another child was found at her residence. Fortunately, after examination, the child was found to be in good health and has been properly placed.
