Changsha, Hunan, was suddenly hit by extreme heavy rain on Saturday (June 7), with maximum rainfall reaching 95.8 mm in just one hour. In a viral video, a staircase in a residential building pours down like a waterfall, the intensity of the rain is shocking. Netizens exclaimed: “This isn't rain, heaven has leaked!”

On social media, netizens jokingly compared the rain to a “tsunami”:
