On the 8th, Ken Zhu broke his silence and released a video responding to the matter of being removed from F4. He stated that both parties had not yet signed a contract and were still communicating intentions to cooperate, but because he refused several requests from 'B'in Music', the other party unilaterally cut off contact. He also directly named B'in Music's COO, Chihfen Hsieh ('A-Jie'), asking her to stop smearing him through public opinion. In response, some netizens unearthed that during Ken Zhu’s previous concerts, Mayday and A-Jie had both sent flower baskets to wish him success. Now, their relationship has turned cold, prompting netizens to sigh, 'True feelings met with coldness.'

On the 8th, Ken Zhu appeared in a video to address public curiosity about why he was not participating in the F4 reunion. He believes that because he didn’t agree to the other party’s requests, they unilaterally cut off contact, and unfavorable rumors about him started circulating online, 'Next came reports that I leaked information, which led to a postponement. Then there were stories that, due to my leaking, they ultimately had to let me go with deep regret—these so-called news items.'

Ken Zhu then called out A-Jie by name: 'If you don’t like me, or think I’m not suitable for this performance, you can just tell me directly. There’s no need to smudge or smear my name. I really don’t understand what you want me to do. Do you want to start a war of words with me, or want me to throw a fit? Feel regret? Apologize to you or hope to be included in this performance?'

Upon seeing this, some Chinese netizens dug up A-Jie and Mayday’s earlier flower baskets, saying: "'B'in Music' was still so gracious before, even sending flower baskets to Ken Zhu...". Other netizens’ reactions were mixed: 'After watching Ken Zhu’s response, I think his biggest problem is not having a professional agency team to handle his business matters,' 'Not a fan of anyone, but you have to be conscientious; always saying online that he cut off contact with colleagues and hasn’t stayed in touch, acting as if everyone owes him something, the impression is really bad,' 'B'in Music must feel really exhausted dealing with this.' 'B'in Music' later stated they 'would not respond,' but staff members spoke out one after another. Mayday’s manager seemingly wrote on social media: 'Please take a look at yourself first~' Another executive also commented: 'That person only cares about his own traffic.'
