UBD Holds Quran Ceremony to Commemorate the Revelation of the Quran

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 13th) Universiti Brunei Darussalam Mosque held a Quran completion ceremony and a special recitation session recently to commemorate the 1447th anniversary of the revelation of the Quran. 
This event was jointly organized by the UBD Student Affairs Office and the Student Representative Council (PMUBD), and coordinated by the Spiritual and Community Service Department, the Spiritual and Community Service Executive Committee, as well as the Spiritual Affairs offices of various faculty student associations. 
UBD Vice Chancellor Dr. Kifli, along with university officials, staff, students, and invited guests attended the event. 
The event also featured a special Quran session hosted by religious officers, the Islamic Da'wah Center, and commentator Hal Ehwal Ugama. In a lecture titled "Enhancing the Learning and Transmission of the Quran," the speaker emphasized the importance of strengthening one's connection with the Quran through continuous study, understanding its teachings, and applying them in daily life. The guest of honor also presented a token of appreciation to the speaker. 
As part of the ceremony, the guest of honor donated funds to orphans, single mothers, and new converts within the UBD community. In addition, the guest of honor handed over donations to representatives from orphan aid institutions from the four districts of Brunei.
