On the 13th, Yemen's 'Houthi Movement' announced that, in retaliation for Saudi Arabia's airstrike on Sanaa International Airport earlier that day, the group launched missiles and drones at Abha International Airport in southwest Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, on the 13th, the spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, Maliki, said on social media that their air defense forces had intercepted missile attacks launched by Yemen's 'Houthi Movement' towards southern Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia Airstrikes Sanaa Airport

Earlier, Al Masirah TV, controlled by the 'Houthi Movement', reported that Saudi Arabia carried out multiple airstrikes on the runway of Sanaa International Airport, which is controlled by the 'Houthi Movement'.

The report stated that during the airstrike, an Iranian passenger plane carrying a 'Houthi Movement' delegation was flying from Tehran to Sanaa. The plane ultimately landed at Hodeidah Airport in northwestern Yemen, which is controlled by the 'Houthi Movement'.

The report pointed out that this passenger plane had previously carried the delegation to Iran to attend the funeral of Iran's late supreme leader Khamenei.

For a long time, the scheduling of flights at Sanaa International Airport has been one of the main points of contention between the Yemeni government and the 'Houthi Movement'.
