Japanese drama queen Ryoko Yonekura was originally scheduled to attend the "Beautiful Legs Awards" ceremony on the 6th, but called in sick at the last minute due to feeling unwell. This marks the third consecutive time she has canceled an event recently. Her Instagram posts have also stopped updating since August 19th. Since the 50-year-old suffers from the rare disease "Cerebrospinal Fluid Hypovolemia Syndrome,” there is growing concern that her condition may have worsened.
Yonekura publicly revealed in 2019 that she had been diagnosed with Cerebrospinal Fluid Hypovolemia Syndrome, which causes dizziness, tinnitus, vision loss, and overall weakness, among other symptoms. In 2022, she was also forced to quit the Broadway musical 'Chicago' due to acute back pain and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. However, her health condition seemed to visibly improve in recent years. In June 2024, she revealed on a program: "Last year (2023), I met a very good doctor, had surgery in August, and started to suddenly feel revitalized around May this year." On August 2nd and 3rd of this year, she even held her long-awaited solo show for the first time in four years, showcasing her singing and dancing abilities.
