Enhancing Male Health Awareness: BMC Holds Prostate Cancer Awareness Event

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 29th) Brunei Methanol Company (BMC) recently held a prostate cancer awareness event at its office location, aiming to elevate public attention to men's health and encourage employees to undergo early screening, making wiser health choices.

Dato Noraslinah, Head of Borneo Cancer Centre's Early Detection and Cancer Prevention Services (EDCPS), Consultant Physician and Senior Medical Officer, led a delegation from Jerudong Park Medical Centre to attend the event.

Azlan, Senior Medical Officer at EDCPS, delivered an informative talk in a clear and understandable manner, explaining prostate cancer, including its risks, early symptoms, and the importance of timely screening. By clarifying common misconceptions, he made this often-overlooked topic accessible and engaging, capturing the attention of all attendees.

The event also featured interactive booths, health information consultation points, and a variety of activities, enabling employees to conveniently access knowledge related to men's health and preventive care.

This initiative demonstrates BMC’s ongoing commitment to building a healthier and more professional workforce. It aims to empower employees of all ages to take charge of their health from today and embrace a better tomorrow.
