Shishan Lions Club Children's Coloring Competition Parent-Child Interaction and Shared Growth Through Art

(Miri, 14th) Shishan Lions Club Organizing Committee Chairman Zhang Hongliang stated that through the coloring competition, not only can students cultivate concentration and creativity, but it also enhances parent-child interaction, allowing parents and children to witness the joy of growth together.
“Every piece of work by the students is not just a picture, but also an expression of their hearts and a showcase of their dreams. Regardless of the outcome, the true victory lies in the children daring to try and show their creativity.”
In his speech yesterday afternoon at the children's coloring competition jointly organized by Shishan Lions Club and EL Learning Education Center, Zhang Hongliang said that this competition allowed elementary students to unleash their creativity in a world of colors, displaying childlike innocence and talent.
He pointed out that the coloring competition is not just a contest, but also an entertaining and educational experience that leaves unforgettable and beautiful memories for the children.
He said this competition was divided into two groups: Lower Primary (age 7-9) and Upper Primary (age 10-12), providing students of different age groups with a healthy and beneficial platform to express their imagination and creativity through art.

Zhang Hongliang expressed his gratitude to all parents and teachers for their support and encouragement. It is because of their companionship that students have the courage and confidence to participate and showcase their abilities. He also thanked the panel of judges for their hard work in providing a fair and professional evaluation to the students.

Zhang Hongliang especially thanked Myy Land Playground for sponsoring the competition venue and the parents for their support, which enabled the children to participate in this meaningful activity.
On another note, the Head of EL Learning Education Center, Liu Huiting, thanked all participants for their enthusiastic involvement, choosing to join beneficial extracurricular activities during the school holidays.
“Seeing students actively participate in such meaningful activities today not only helps to cultivate their interests, but also boosts their confidence, making their holiday lives more fulfilling and worthwhile.”
She expressed her gratitude to the parents for their support and encouragement and hopes to continue to work together in the future to organize more educational and enjoyable activities that can contribute to students’ growth.
