After the return of the bullet library silk book from the United States to China this past May, another artifact has now been returned—this time a tiger-shaped ornament from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods. Chinese Ambassador to the US, Xie Feng, stated that this "has added positive factors to China-US cultural exchanges."
According to the Chinese Embassy in the US, on the 16th, Xie Feng, on behalf of the Chinese government, received the tiger-shaped ornament artifact, which was returned via a representative from a US civil institution, Morris Art Law Firm founder Mr. Morris.
Xie Feng expressed high appreciation and gratitude to the US institutions for proactively returning the tiger-shaped ornament to China, noting that the return of this artifact would allow its historical, artistic, and scientific value to be best displayed and realized, while also adding positive factors to China-US cultural exchanges.
In photos taken at the embassy, it can be seen that the certificate of appreciation issued by the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China states that the tiger-shaped ornament artifact was "returned by Mr. Morris on behalf of a client," but no further details were disclosed.
