Sarawak MATTA Travel Fair to be Held on August 23-24

(Kuching, 19th) The second Sarawak Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Travel Fair 2025 will be held from the 23rd to 24th of this month at Boulevard Shopping Mall, Kuching. During the event, visitors will have the chance to win flight tickets to exciting destinations such as Brisbane (Australia), Paris (France), Chiang Mai (Thailand), Da Nang (Vietnam), and more.
The Sarawak MATTA branch stated in a press release that, in addition to being able to purchase value-for-money domestic and overseas travel packages, the public can also buy Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) flight tickets through authorized agents.
“MATTA appreciates the government’s move to increase flight frequencies, allowing travelers to connect with the world more conveniently,” the press release said.
During the exhibition, there will also be a “Buyer’s Lucky Draw,” with MAG giving away multiple round-trip air tickets, including:
· Two round-trip tickets Kuching–Brisbane
· Two round-trip tickets Kuching–Paris
· Two round-trip tickets Kuching–Chiang Mai
· Two round-trip tickets Kuching–Da Nang
· Two round-trip tickets Kuching–Kuala Lumpur
· Two round-trip tickets Sibu–Kuala Lumpur
In addition, MASwings under Malaysia Airlines will give away 5 round-trip tickets to any destination, and Scoot Airlines will give away one round-trip ticket to Perth and one to Singapore.
There will also be an abundance of prizes at the event, including accommodation and vouchers sponsored by Borneo Happy Farm, Grand Margherita Hotel Kuching, Hilton Kuching, Grand Continental Hotel, Miri Mega Hotel, Meritin Hotel Kuching, Miri Melyn Hotel, Pullman Kuching, Riverside Majestic Astana Wing Hotel, Sarawak Tourism Board, Samatan Palm Beach Resort, and others.
“MATTA firmly believes that the collaboration and support from MAG, RHB Bank, and the hotel industry will attract more crowds and further promote and revitalize the domestic and international tourism industry, contributing to overall tourism growth.
