45-year-old Hong Kong artiste Yang Ming has been actively seeking breakthroughs in his career in recent years. Recently, a Malaysian internet celebrity released a video revealing that Yang Ming has quietly entered the Malaysian market, making a hefty investment to open an authentic Hong Kong-style roast restaurant.

In the video, the influencer asked pointedly, “Can’t you make it at TVB anymore? Why come to Malaysia to open a restaurant?” Facing such a sharp question, Yang Ming showcased his high EQ, generously joking, “It’s because I couldn’t make it at Hong Kong TVB that I decided to come here for a new venture.” He openly admitted that opening a roast shop has always been his dream. For this, he specially hired a Hong Kong chef to manage the kitchen, focusing on Hong Kong-style char siu and his original creation, “pepper roast duck.”
