(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) The 2025 Brunei Primary School Assessment (PSR) results have been announced, and Chung Hwa Middle School Brunei has a total of 28 students who achieved outstanding results with As in all subjects (5A).
In this examination, the school's Year Six students performed steadily, with the number of students achieving the top 5A results remaining stable, reflecting the school's consistently high standard of teaching. These students stood out in the exams due to their comprehensive academic abilities, bringing honor to the school.
This year, 140 students from the school participated in the Year Six PSR, with 113 students passing, resulting in an overall pass rate of 80.71%. Among the candidates, 28 achieved straight A's (5A), accounting for 20%; 18 students obtained 4A1B results, making up 12.86%.
Among them, the school's Year Six Malay Language subject (BM) saw an excellence rate of 65.72% this year; English achieved an excellence rate of 97.14%; Mathematics reported an excellence rate of 92.14%, an increase of 4.71% compared to last year; Science reached an excellence rate of 95.72%; and the Malay Islamic Monarchy Concepts (MIB) subject achieved 92.86%.
Principal Ms. Hoo Moon Lan warmly congratulated the 28 graduates who achieved straight A's (5A) this year, fully affirming their long-term hard work and the diligent guidance of the teachers.
