U.S. President Trump posted on social media on the 7th, confirming that three U.S. destroyers were attacked by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.

He noted that the three warships were not damaged, but the Iranian side suffered heavy losses.

He threatened Iran, saying that if an agreement is not signed quickly, the U.S. will take even more forceful and violent actions against it.

Strikes on Iranian Facilities Are Just a Minor Warning

In addition, Trump said in an interview with the U.S. media regarding the renewed clashes between the U.S. and Iran that the ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran remains in effect, and that U.S. strikes on Iranian facilities are merely a small warning.

He said: "The ceasefire is still continuing and is still valid. This is just a small warning."

Earlier that day, U.S. forces struck Iranian military facilities. According to the U.S., Iran used these facilities to launch attacks on U.S. warships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, while the Iranian side claimed that U.S. forces attacked an Iranian oil tanker and another ship entering the Strait of Hormuz, violating the ceasefire agreement.
