(Seria, 5th) Officials and staff of the Radio Television Brunei (RTB) Seria District Branch recently completed a two-day fire management training course. The training took place at the branch's studio building and the Seria Fire and Rescue Department.
The course aimed to enhance trainees’ understanding of their roles as emergency personnel and improve overall emergency response capabilities.
During the training, participants systematically learned emergency response knowledge through multiple courses and seminar activities, including fundamental firefighting skills such as proper use of fire extinguishers and fire blankets. They also took part in simulated crisis scenario drills, applying the knowledge and skills they acquired in a realistic environment to handle and respond to various emergency situations, further consolidating their emergency response abilities.
This training was jointly organized by the Seria District Branch of Radio Television Brunei and the ‘B’ Unit of the Fire and Rescue Department, with the unit responsible for teaching professional knowledge related to fire safety management and emergency personnel.
