At a graduate job fair at Nanchang University in Jiangxi, China, a company displayed explicit recruitment posters for female streamers, sparking controversy. On the 20th, the university issued a statement apologizing for the incident, saying that there were many recruiting organizations and participants onsite that day, resulting in lapses in inspections and reflecting a lack of thoroughness and oversight in their work, for which they deeply apologized.
According to a report by The Beijing News, the Admissions and Employment Office of Nanchang University stated in the explanation that the dual-selection job fair held on the 16th sparked discussion due to a company's recruitment poster. The university took this matter seriously and immediately sent personnel to the scene for inspection. The company involved has since left the fair and removed all recruitment materials.
Upon investigation, the company had already registered on the Jiangxi Provincial Student Employment Service Platform. The positions offered for on-campus recruitment included human resources specialist, livestreaming host (anchor), and assistant video editor, all of which were within campus recruitment requirements. However, the company did not submit the poster for university approval before display.
