(Bandar Seri Begawan, 10th) – Lim Wai Fat, President of the Chung Hwa Middle School Alumni Association, stated that on this beautiful night with the bright full moon, we once again return to the embrace of our “home”—the Alumni Association clubhouse—to gather together. This is not only a Mid-Autumn gathering, but also a continuation and witness of the friendship among alumni.
He said that since its establishment, the Alumni Association has always adhered to the mission of “uniting alumni friendships and continuing love for the alma mater.” We deeply understand that every alumnus is a star in the long history of Chung Hwa Middle School; when all the starlight gathers together, it creates today's brilliance. Tonight, just like the bright moon in the sky that symbolizes reunion and completeness, our alumni friendship becomes more perfect and fulfilling because of this gathering.
However, we must also reflect: The significance of the Alumni Association is not only about gatherings and celebrations; rather, it is to build a platform where alumni can share life experiences, pass on the spirit of the alma mater, and support each other for mutual growth.
Lim Wai Fat expressed this at last night's Mid-Autumn Festival celebration held at the association's clubhouse.
Therefore, he would like to take this opportunity to call on more alumni to join us, no matter where you are, never forget your roots at Chung Hwa Middle School.
Every current committee member and member is encouraged to proactively contact the alumni around them and bring them “home,” to participate together in our activities.
Let the Alumni Association truly become a warm spiritual home—whether in times of joy or challenge, we can all support each other.
He said, Dear alumni, tonight's Mid-Autumn Festival lets us more deeply appreciate the meaning of "Reunion under the same moon." May we not only gather on festive occasions in the future, but also stay in touch and support each other in everyday life, making the Alumni Association the most vibrant continuation of the Chung Hwa spirit.
