(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) Brunei Xuan Long Sports Association will represent Brunei in the 2026 International Master Cup 4.0 International Lion King Championship, which will be held at Sunway Velocity Mall in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A team of 10 athletes departed for Kuala Lumpur on August 5, 2026 (Wednesday) to prepare for the International Traditional Lion Dance Competition, which will take place on August 8, 2026 (Saturday).
The team is coached by Huang Weili, with Chen Baoluo serving as the captain. After months of rigorous training and preparation, the athletes are ready to compete alongside top lion dance teams from around the world, proudly showcasing Brunei’s style on the international stage.
Representing Brunei is both an honor and a responsibility. The lion dance team hopes to deliver a spectacular performance, demonstrate Brunei’s talent and dedication in the art of traditional lion dance, and return victorious to bring glory to Brunei.
