Russia: Anyone Who Sends Troops into Ukraine Will Be Considered a Legitimate Target

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova stated at a press conference on the 15th that for Russia, it is unacceptable for any country from the so-called 'volunteer coalition' to deploy military forces in Ukraine.

She said that once these military forces complete their deployment, it will exacerbate the security threat facing Russia, and Russia will regard these military forces as legitimate targets for strikes.

She pointed out that Western countries' continued supply of weapons to Ukraine is one of the obstacles to resolving the Ukraine issue. To end the conflict, the West must stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Previously, French President Macron stated at the 'volunteer coalition' summit that the deployment plan for the coalition's troops is ready. In the coming months, these troops will conduct exercises in European countries bordering Ukraine.

The 'volunteer coalition' is led by France and the United Kingdom, aiming to provide security guarantees for Ukraine and seeking to promote a resolution to the Ukraine crisis. This coalition held a summit in Paris on the 13th.

Japan Should Abide by the Peace Constitution and Fully Recognize the Results of World War II

In addition, Zakharova said that Japan should abide by the Peace Constitution and fully recognize the outcome of World War II.

She, in a written response to a related question from a Xinhua News Agency reporter, said that Japan is accelerating remilitarization and continuously expanding the scope of its military activities, and Russia is closely monitoring this.

Zakharova pointed out that Russia firmly rejects Japan's representations regarding the recent Russia-China joint military exercises, as these exercises fully comply with international law.
