Philippine Department of Tourism's Visitor Assistance Call Center Launches Chinese Language Service

On the 15th, the Philippine Department of Tourism announced that its Visitor Assistance Call Center has launched a Chinese language service, further enhancing its ability to receive and serve international tourists.

Philippine Tourism Secretary Frasco stated that Chinese is the fourth language offered by the center, following English, Filipino, and Korean, aiming to provide convenient assistance to more international tourists.

As an important initiative in the Philippine's "2023-2028 National Tourism Development Plan," the Philippine Department of Tourism established the Visitor Assistance Call Center in October 2023 to enhance the overall tourism experience for visitors.

The Philippine Department of Tourism pointed out that starting today, Chinese-speaking tourists can directly call the hotline 151-TOUR or 151-8687 Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm local time to communicate with staff and obtain consultation services and assistance.

Data released by the Philippine Department of Tourism shows that from January to March this year, China was the sixth largest source of tourists to the Philippines, with a total of 73,013 Chinese tourists entering the country.
