South Korean actress NANA (Im Jin-ah), dubbed the “world’s most beautiful woman,” has shockingly found her home safety at risk! In November last year, a man in his 30s, identified as A, broke into NANA’s residence in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, wielding a knife and threatening not only NANA herself but also holding her mother by the neck in an attempt to steal valuables.
According to Korean media reports, on the 21st, NANA and her mother appeared at the Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court as witnesses for the third hearing. Recapping the incident, on November 15 last year, the suspect climbed onto NANA’s balcony and threatened the mother and daughter with a weapon. In order to protect her mother, NANA displayed remarkable courage, physically confronting the perpetrator and eventually subduing him before alerting the police. Outrageously, after being apprehended, A claimed to be the victim, alleging that he was beaten by NANA and even countersued her for “attempted murder” and “special injury.”

On the stand, NANA recalled the scene: upon hearing her mother scream, she rushed out of her room and saw her mother being choked. Instinctively, she intervened and separated them. Even upon discovering the perpetrator was armed, she did not back down—“At that moment, I just thought I couldn’t let my mom get hurt.” NANA’s mother, still traumatized, said she had nearly passed out from suffocation. Currently, while A has admitted to illegal entry, he insists that he was merely “attempting theft” and denies acts of strangulation or other violence.
