(Kuala Belait, 12th) The Institute of Brunei Technical Education Jefri Bolkiah Campus (IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus, referred to as IBTE JBC) will welcome a total of 192 students enrolled in the various courses offered for the new semester in July 2026.
IBTE JBC recently held an orientation week event in the campus multipurpose hall. The event was opened with a speech by IBTE JBC Academic Manager, Rosmah.
The three-day orientation was held on July 9, 2026 (Thursday), July 10, 2026 (Friday), and July 13, 2026 (Monday), with the aim of allowing new students to gain early familiarity with the IBTE learning environment and campus culture, as well as promoting communication and connections between students and between students and mentors.
During orientation week, the school arranged a number of activities, including briefings by various campus departments, ice-breaking sessions, and campus tours led by senior IBTE JBC students and group leaders.
In addition, the new students were introduced to campus rules and regulations, safety procedures, and the student support facilities provided on campus.
This year, a total of 10 courses are offered to new students, covering the following qualification levels: Brunei Darussalam Qualifications Framework (BDQF) Level 5—Diploma Courses (Diploma), Diploma in Marine Engineering, Diploma in Nautical Studies; Brunei Darussalam Qualifications Framework (BDQF) Level 4—Higher National Technical Certificate (HNTec) Courses
