Keung To appeared at Hong Kong airport on the night of the 25th, preparing to fly to Paris to attend Fashion Week. This was his first public appearance after accidentally falling into the sea yesterday, and he was interviewed by the media. Over 500 fans (Keung Candies) were present, holding banners and signs to support their idol. TVB Entertainment News Channel also sent staff to the scene for interviews.

Keung To arrived at the airport around 10:20 PM, accompanied by his manager and assistant. During an interview, he said: "The doctor checked me, everything is normal, there's no need to worry. (Did the doctor approve your discharge?) Yes, the doctor thought there was no issue, so I'm leaving as usual today." Keung To revealed that his hand had some grazes, but the injuries were not serious. Although the company suggested he take a rest, he admitted: "Because there are too many rumors in the public, I feel that if I don't come out, those rumors will continue to spread, so I want everyone to know I'm alright. It's my own wish to work again."
Keung To stated that yesterday's accident was purely coincidental. He revealed that he had been feeling a bit unwell recently and wanted to go for a run to sweat it out. Since the weather was nice, he went to the seaside to enjoy the sunset.
"I've been feeling a little unwell lately and wanted to exercise and relax, but I set a bad example by climbing over the railing. Because I saw people outside the railing fishing or resting, I wanted to relax too. But when I stood up and was about to return, I suddenly felt a bit dizzy and just fell down. It was completely an accident. (Was it your first time climbing over a railing?) Yes, and it will be the last. I hope everyone doesn't copy this—railings are there for safety."
Regarding rumors that he was "taking medicine" or "drinking alcohol," Keung To said that he was indeed a bit dizzy and admitted to taking painkillers for a headache, and also drinking a little alcohol. When asked if he was drunk, he replied: "That wasn't the main reason, maybe I just wasn't being careful. (You didn't drink to drown your sorrows?) I rarely do that, and I wouldn't use alcohol to drown my sorrows. I've always relied on playing ball games to manage my emotions."
He also mentioned that it was only after falling into the sea that he realized the danger. Although he can swim, he was extremely panicked at the time. He especially thanked the rescue personnel and the citizen who threw the lifebuoy, and also apologized for taking up public resources.
Due to the accident, Keung To's originally scheduled fan meeting today was cancelled. He explained: "The company doesn't want us to push ourselves too hard, but since I'm here, I didn't want to disappoint the fans, so no matter what I had to meet everyone. We'll hold a complete fan meeting on July 29th."
Asked about whether he would be taking a long vacation, he said he had already taken a break.
