(Selangor, 12th) A viral video showing a Ferrari sports car driver allegedly provoking another driver after being honked at for blocking the road during the early morning hours has led the driver's company to release a statement confirming the individual is a management-level staff member, who has now been immediately suspended until the internal investigation is complete.

STONED & CO. Malaysia issued an official media statement on Facebook Monday, responding to a recently circulated video online showing a member of the company's management in SS15, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The dashcam footage shows that the incident took place in the early hours of December 27 last year at around 4am. A man in black clothes and blue jeans is seen standing by the roadside with his back turned, near a black Ferrari parked at an angle. An approaching car honks for the man to make way, but instead, the man is triggered, leading to a heated argument with profanities exchanged. The man then drives the Ferrari to chase the other car, overtakes and brakes suddenly, even getting out to approach the car. Inside, the front passenger can repeatedly be heard saying “Don’t play around,” trying to avoid conflict, and calls out someone’s name twice during the incident.

The statement noted that the company has paid close attention to the video’s content, making it clear that “the behavior shown in the video does not align with the values, corporate culture, or professional standards our brand upholds as a company.”

The statement underlined that Stoned & Co. “is built upon a foundation of community, respect, and accountability,” expressing deep concern about the incident and apologizing sincerely for the distress and unease caused.
