The Chief Minister of Selangor, Dato' Seri Amirudin, stated that both the federal and state governments are committed to assisting those in need, including through the Mylesen program that helps low-income groups obtain motorcycle licenses.
He believes that a driving license is one of the most important documents for everyone, second only to the national identity card (MyKad), and having a license opens up more opportunities for people's lives.
He explained that having a license can bring convenience to the people, enabling low-income groups to more easily access education and seek livelihoods, thereby improving their lives.
“With a license, they can ride motorcycles to study and find more job opportunities, which will also improve their lives.”
Amirudin noted this on Saturday, May 31, during the presentation of licenses to beneficiaries under the Selangor Mylesen program.
“I believe the government will continue to focus on providing more help to those in need.”
Today, a total of 1,200 young individuals from Selangor obtained motorcycle licenses under the Mylesen program.
