(Kuala Belait, 24th) Ma Shiyuan Yuanji Wellness Association held a grand banquet last night at the V-Plaza Banquet Hall in Kuala Belait to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The event attracted over 400 members, guests, and community leaders who gathered to witness the important milestone of the association’s two-decade effort in promoting healthy culture and physical-mental cultivation.
The evening began in a lively and festive atmosphere, with the event opening with a spectacular 'Yuanji Dance Performance' and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, ushering in a magnificent chapter for the celebration.
At the event, the association’s president, Shen Qiuxiang, delivered a welcome speech. This was followed by a speech from the guest of honor, Lu Shunnian, and a presentation of commemorative gifts.
The celebration featured a colorful and diverse program, including dance, singing, and toasting ceremonies, creating a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. A series of wonderful dance performances such as 'Thousands of Miles of Love,' 'Red Silk Long Fan Dance,' 'Cotton Field,' 'Grassland Night,' 'Cha Cha Loco,' and 'Dragon Roar in the East' were performed in succession, receiving rounds of applause from the audience.
The association also specially presented 'Long Service Awards' to senior committee members, recognizing their contributions to the association’s development over the years. Notably, President Shen Qiuxiang also personally donated an education fund to 8 Chinese schools across Brunei, demonstrating a passion for education and a spirit of giving back to society, which was highly praised by all guests present.
Several rounds of lucky draws were interspersed throughout the banquet, with dozens of prizes given away, pushing the event atmosphere to its climax. Finally, all committee members sang together to bring the celebration to a successful close, with the banquet concluding at 10:40 p.m.
