At the same time, the gala also arranged a red envelope distribution session for the children present, wishing the youngsters a happy Year of the Horse and encouraging the spirit of respecting the elderly and loving the young to be passed on in Chinese culture.
Aside from celebrating the festival, the President also reported to fellow members on the association's progress.
He revealed that the Labuan Fuzhou Association will convene its members’ meeting on March 26 this year, when they will review the achievements of the past year's activities and plan the direction of the association’s affairs for the year, promoting more charitable activities.
“This year is also our election year, and I sincerely hope fellow members can make time to attend, united in selecting capable leaders to continue leading the association toward a better future.”
