(Kuala Lumpur 17th) A shooting incident occurred at a Kuala Lumpur shopping mall. A netizen commented that they thought someone was setting off firecrackers, but then saw a bunch of people running, so they ran too.
A shooting occurred at the entrance of a Kuala Lumpur shopping mall at midnight, resulting in the deaths of two Chinese men. A large number of images or related posts about the crime scene are circulating online.
A netizen left a comment on a post saying that they were inside the shopping mall at the time, separated by a glass door, and thought there were firecrackers being set off outside, but then saw a bunch of people running wildly.
“I ran along as well, and when I came back later, I saw two people lying down, one clearly 'gone', and the other seemed only injured, lying there moving around.”
They said that afterwards, photos of two bodies covered with white cloths spread online, and they learned that the originally injured man had also died.
Additionally, on Xiaohongshu, a Chinese netizen left a comment under a post about the shooting incident, saying they planned to travel to Malaysia for summer vacation, but came across two shooting incidents online, and asked if firearms are legal there.
A Malaysian netizen replied that firearms are not legal in Malaysia and explained that these shootings are “black on black” and usually only target the parties involved, without shooting others indiscriminately.
