(Kuala Belait, 24th) The Big Kem Excel Athletics Mini Tournament was successfully held recently, attracting a vibrant participation of 60 young athletes from various schools in Kuala Belait. Participants showcased their energy and competitive spirit on the track.
This event was divided into four age categories: 6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old, and 11-12 years old. The competitors vied in a variety of events including the 30m, 60m, 100m, 150m, and 200m sprints, as well as throwing and long jump events. The atmosphere at the venue was lively and exciting.
With the theme “Victory Starts Here,” the event aimed to nurture young sports talent, inspire team spirit and healthy competition, and lay a foundation for discovering and developing the next generation of promising athletes in the Kuala Belait district.
Big Kem Excel expressed heartfelt thanks to the Youth and Sports Department for their strong support, and especially to all coaches, senior athletes, volunteers, media partners, and parents for their assistance and cooperation. Special thanks were also extended to St. Anthony Abell College for their enthusiastic participation and contribution, which added extra brilliance to the event.
The organizers stated that they will continue to promote more such events in the future, to foster a positive and healthy campus sports atmosphere, supporting students in their growth both in sports and character.
