(Kuala Lumpur, 27th) Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi has called on the public to support the "One Home, One Flag" campaign, seeing it as a symbol of love for the country and unity, in welcoming the upcoming 2025 National Day and Malaysia Day.
He pointed out that people should proudly display the national flag at their homes, vehicles, offices, schools, and respective premises to support this campaign.
"I urge everyone, let us hang the Jalur Gemilang at our homes, vehicles, offices, schools, and respective premises. Let us all support the One Home, One Flag campaign and express our love for the country."
Fahmi, who is also the chairman of the National Day and Malaysia Day Celebration Committee, said this today (27th) at the launch ceremony of the 2025 National Month and Wave the Jalur Gemilang Flag at Golden Tanjung Square, Muar. The event was officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar.
Fahmi mentioned that National Month is not only a symbolic event but also a great responsibility for all Malaysians to show patriotism and enhance patriotic feelings.
"During this month, let us all reflect on history, appreciate sacrifice, and rekindle our love for this land."
He said that understanding the value of independence is vital for people to truly grasp the meaning of freedom and an independent social life.
He added that the spirit of unity formed under the framework of the Federal Constitution over the past 68 years has been the foundation of the nation's peace and stability.
