A Fiery May-December Romance with Lin Lü: Glenn Yong Goes Fully Nude

Starring local actress Lynn Lin Lü and Singaporean actor Glenn Yong, the brand-new romantic comedy My Handsome Young Dad is about to premiere. The very first episode brings the heat, featuring an intense May-December romance, passionate kissing and bed scenes. Glenn Yong even takes on the boldest challenge of his acting career by appearing fully nude, igniting hot discussions all around!

Malaysian TV queen Michelle Lim, who plays the mother-in-law, missed out on “witnessing” Glenn Yong’s nude scene, humorously lamenting, “It’s such a pity, I missed out on the eye candy,” leaving everyone in stitches!

The series is adapted from the hit New Zealand drama Step Dave. In the show, Lin Lü and Glenn Yong play a couple with a 15-year age gap, with Glenn’s character even “upgrading” to become the stepfather of three children. The cast, including Lin Lü, Glenn Yong, Michelle Lim, Chen Meijun, Zhang Jiawen, Liu Wenyi, Huang Siwen, Liang Yuxuan, Lv Rui, Xu Liangyu, Cai Peixuan, Liu Quansheng, Xie Honglin, Lv Rui, and Li Yihan, attended the press conference on the 19th, where the first episode was shown in advance and they shared memorable filming moments with the media. Playing a “mother” for the first time, Lin Lü confessed she felt a lot of pressure: “I’m not married and don’t have kids. At first, I was worried I wouldn’t do well, but then I figured—there are millions of types of mothers, so I’ll play a crazy, big-sister-like mom!”

In the preview of the first episode, the “May-December couple” click instantly, sparks flying and a string of intimate scenes unfurl. The most eye-catching moment is Glenn Yong’s nude scene. He laughed and said he really was “in the buff,” using only an Ultraman plushie to cover crucial areas, and the scene took over 10 takes. “Only Lynn saw my butt.” Lin Lü quickly clarified, waving her hands: “I was focused on looking straight ahead. I really didn’t sneak a peek!”

Michelle Lim immediately “protested” after hearing that: “This is honestly the raciest Malaysian series I’ve ever seen in my showbiz career! Additionally, Chen Meijun, who plays the bestie of Lin Lü and Zhang Jiawen, develops a romantic plot with Lu Rui, the ex-husband of her friend, in the show. When asked if she was playing a “homewrecker,” she immediately clarified, “I only got together with him after their divorce,” and laughed, “I’m innocent!”
