(Miri, 24th) — The “2026 Calendar Drawing Competition” organized by the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Lambir Branch will hold its award ceremony on December 28 (Sunday) at 10:00 AM, at the SUPP Lambir Branch Tunku Hall.
The organizers express their gratitude to Tunku Primary School and Bakam Chung Hua School for their strong support and assistance, which successfully promoted and encouraged students to participate enthusiastically.
This competition received over 70 entries, and two experienced art teachers served as judges. From these, 12 outstanding works were selected, with Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Merit Awards presented in both the Lower and Upper Primary categories.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Sibuti, Dato Lukanisman, has been invited as the guest of honor to officiate the award ceremony.
The organizing committee also earnestly requests the schools to help notify all participating students to attend the award ceremony. All participants will receive a 2026 calendar and a participation certificate. School uniforms are not required, but attendees should dress appropriately.
Notably, on the same day, the SUPP Lambir Branch will also be holding a “Caring TCM Free Clinic” activity starting from 9:00 AM, open to the community for free consultations and overall health conditioning services, demonstrating the spirit of caring for society and serving the community.
