(Bintulu, 14th) In conjunction with the 2025 Malaysia Day Run, several roads in Bintulu will be temporarily closed from 4:00 am to 10:00 am on Tuesday (September 16).
Bintulu District Police Chief, Superintendent Nixon Joshua Ali, stated in a press release that the affected routes include the Tun Taib Mahmud Bridge and the roads from the Tun Ahmad Zaidi roundabout to the bridge.
He said approximately 3,000 people are expected to participate in this event.
“During the road closure, police will be conducting traffic control. We urge the public to remain cautious and plan your journeys accordingly,” he said.
Additionally, he reminded that operating drones without approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) is illegal.
The run will start from the Bintulu Civic Centre, pass Jalan Pisang Raja, Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi, cross the Tun Taib Mahmud Bridge, then return via Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi, and finally end back at the Bintulu Civic Centre.
