63-year-old Steve Ma Suddenly Collapses, Livestream Abruptly Interrupted

The 'Roaring Emperor' Steve Ma, who once starred in many Chiung Yao dramas, attended a livestream event at Songcheng Theme Park in Hangzhou, China on June 21. About an hour into the livestream, the 63-year-old suddenly collapsed, falling hard with the back of his head hitting the ground. It’s been reported that this was Ma’s fourth consecutive day participating in the same series of events. According to local weather reports, there were high temperatures and rain in Hangzhou that day, with highs nearing 35 degrees Celsius. Some local media speculated that Ma may have fainted due to exhaustion or heatstroke, after performing so energetically in heavy costumes for an extended period. Another local news outlet cited event partners saying Steve Ma fainted due to low blood sugar. However, Ma himself has yet to respond regarding his condition.

In addition, recent photos of Ma's eldest son Ma Shitian and younger son Ma Shixin have been released. His ex-wife Wu Jia-ni posted photos and short videos with their sons on social media, celebrating the eldest son's 18th birthday.
