Cambodian Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Chea Vandeth, stated that from midnight on June 13, all Cambodian fiber optic companies and internet service providers will stop purchasing internet bandwidth from Thailand, as Cambodia now has the ability to provide network services independently.
Cambodian Minister of Mines and Energy, Keo Ratanak, also pointed out that Cambodia can now also provide sufficient electricity on its own, no longer relying on external input.
In addition to the aforementioned ministries, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet instructed all relevant national units to reassess the current situation and prepare countermeasures to prevent any potential threats to Cambodia in the future.
