The previous day, Hong Kong's Tsz Shan Monastery held a "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Dharma Assembly for Deliverance and Calamity Relief for the Tai Po Hong Fu Court Fire," hoping that the deceased will attain rebirth in a pure land and the living will be freed from fear and find peace, and also offering prayers for the safety and well-being of the rescue personnel. The monastery uploaded several photos on Facebook, showing that nearly 5,000 people attended the dharma assembly, reciting the 'Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Fundamental Vows Sutra' under the guidance of the master. Some netizens said they saw Wong Ho-yin reciting sutras in the main hall, and on the afternoon of the 1st, Wong Ho-yin also shared a photo on social media of himself at Tsz Shan Monastery.
