(Bandar Seri Begawan, 4th) Dato Lai Xinwei, a Yijing Feng Shui master from the Brunei chapter of the “World Yixue Alliance”, has been invited to attend the 30th anniversary of the Singapore Yixue Research Association and the Singapore International Yixue Wisdom Forum in 2025.
The event will be held on July 26 at the 2nd Floor Conference Hall of the Singapore Chui Hua Lou Lin Club.
Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Law, Mr. Eric Chua, will be present to officiate at the opening ceremony.
Keynote speakers at the forum include Dr. Wang Zhixuan (President, Anyang Zhouyi Research Association, China), Antonia Lomer (Feng Shui Master, Switzerland), President Shen Shuqui (Singapore Yijing Research Association), former President Zhang Jianjia (Singapore Modern Enterprise Management Association), Dr. Du Nanfat, PBM (Chairman, Modern Confucian Thought Foundation), Teacher Wang Yani (Honorary President, China Five Arts Feng Shui & Fate Studies Society), Dato Lai Xinwei (Brunei Yijing Feng Shui Center), among others.
Dato Lai Xinwei, a Yijing Feng Shui master from the Brunei chapter of the “World Yixue Alliance”, gave a keynote speech at the seminar, using divination as a mirror to discuss “Empirical Analysis of the 2017 French Presidential Election Through the Lens of Metaphysics: Observing Global Trends.”
Lai Xinwei explored the prediction accuracy and real-life correspondence of the 2017 French presidential election, using divination and traditional fate-analysis techniques in depth. By combining the Yijing's Six Lines Divination and BaZi fate-analysis, he analyzed the fate charts of the two main candidates, demonstrating the practical value of metaphysics in modern political forecasting.
This highlights the value of traditional metaphysics—exploring whether fate and divination can offer unique perspectives in contemporary political predictions to make up for the shortcomings of modern methods.
Through the concrete case of the French presidential election, he evaluated the applicability and credibility of metaphysical techniques when incorporated with real-world politics. This aims to promote the organic connection between theoretical research on divination and real-world events, increasing academic attention.
Lai Xinwei analyzed the candidates’ BaZi structures and major fortune cycles (Da Yun Liu Nian) through fate-analysis, interpreting changes in their personal aura and fortune trend. Using three copper coins for hexagram casting, combined with divination interpretation techniques, he analyzed the pre-election situation and underlying symbolism. The predicted results were compared horizontally with the actual election data to test the predictions’ accuracy.
The basic structure of metaphysics includes three core aspects (Fate-Analysis, Six-Lines Divination, and Feng Shui), non-superstition (the system is built on its own logic, rules, and empirical accumulation, emphasizing scientific verification), and its knowledge system (founded on rigorous theory and practice, and continuously improved to address the complexities of modern society).
Conclusions from the fate-analysis comparison of the 2017 French presidential election: Macron’s advantageous fate chart was stable, with significant fortune-cycle support, and the overall structure supported his victory.
Le Pen, on the other hand, had clear clashes and disadvantages, unfavorable fortune cycles, overwhelming competitive pressure, and a difficult path to victory.
Empirical support showed a high correlation between the predictions and actual results, demonstrating the accuracy of fate analysis.
After the forum, Lai Xinwei was also awarded the Excellent Organization Award in recognition of his exemplary contribution to Yixue research.
