NONO’s Face Censored on ‘Kangsi Coming’ Compilation, Netizens Praise ‘So Considerate’

Although ‘Kangsi Coming’ has been off the air for 10 years, it remains a classic show that many viewers enjoy rewatching. Recently, a netizen, while watching program highlights on YouTube, was surprised to find that guest NONO (Chen Xuan Yu)’s face had been mosaicked throughout, sparking wide discussion online, with many praising, ‘Finally don’t have to see him,’ and ‘This detail is great.’

Some netizens shared that there was an episode of ‘Kangsi Coming’ which featured Shen Yulin, “Butterfly Sister” Kai Le, “Little Sweetie” Zhang Keyun, “Little Zhong” Zhong Yun Cheng, “Cong Cong” Tang Cong Sheng, “Little Zhen” Hu Yingzhen, Feng Yuan Zhen, A Bu, and others as guests, but in the footage, only NONO’s face was censored with mosaic blurring. However, his name placard was still visible enough for viewers to recognize him, leading many to exclaim: ‘Inferior celebrity got censored,’ and ‘Directly censored, so considerate.’

In fact, since 2023, NONO has been embroiled in sexual harassment and assault allegations, with multiple cases entering judicial proceedings. Among them, two women accused him of sexual assault and indecency, but in May this year, the Shilin District Court in the first trial ruled there was insufficient evidence and found him not guilty. However, the Shilin District Prosecutors Office has appealed the case, with further court proceedings pending. Additionally, NONO faces 7 other cases involving offenses against sexual autonomy. In both the first and second trials, he was found guilty only in one case of attempted forcible intercourse and sentenced to two years and six months in prison, while acquitted in the other six cases.
