(Bandar Seri Begawan, 13th) Brunei Teng Yun Temple will solemnly celebrate the grand birthday of the North Pole True Martial Xuan Tian Supreme Emperor, Jade Void Master, Incarnation of the Golden Palace, Demon Queller who forever guards and saves the suffering, on the evening of April 17th at 8 PM. This ceremony will also celebrate the birthday of the Supreme Western Queen Mother of the Jade Lake.
The temple respectfully invites Xuan Tian Shang Di to preside over the ritual of dispatching the Five Army Generals.
At the same time, on April 19th (Sunday) at 9 AM, the temple will respectfully invite Xuan Tian Shang Di to descend in spirit to welcome the Jade Emperor and the Three Officials and Five Emperors, and to celebrate both Xuan Tian Shang Di’s birthday and the Western Queen Mother's birthday, as well as the celebration of the Divine Peach Festival.
At 5 PM that day, there will be offerings for the Five Army Generals and for the unseen spirits (Good Brothers~Lao Da Gong).
At 8 PM, Xuan Tian Shang Di will be respectfully invited to descend in spirit to lead disciples in a fire-walking ritual to dispel plagues, cold, dampness and evil energy.
Afterwards, the Jade Emperor and the Three Officials and Five Emperors will be respectfully sent off.
The temple will also hold an offering ceremony for the Five Army Generals and the army withdrawal ritual at 6 PM on April 23rd.
