(Kuala Lumpur, 7th) The MCA National General Assembly today tabled a resolution stating that MCA does not rule out independently deciding a new direction in the next general election.
MCA's resolution pointed out that due to major differences in political ideology between MCA and DAP, they will refuse to cooperate with DAP in the next general election.
The resolution also stated that if any Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties cooperate with DAP in any form in the next general election, it would show that the BN spirit has effectively ceased to exist, and MCA will independently decide its new direction.
Furthermore, in this General Assembly, MCA did not invite BN component parties to attend.
The 13 resolutions of the 3rd session of MCA's 30th Central Delegates General Assembly:

【Party Affairs】

1) All levels of organization are to coordinate with the Central leadership's strategies and pace, immediately activate election machinery, complete preparation work within six months, and fully prepare for the national and state elections.
2) All levels of the organization are to actively recruit young members to ensure the party's regeneration and the perpetual transmission of party ideals, while strengthening political training for new members to solidify their commitment and loyalty to party values.

【Politics】

3) Due to major differences in political ideology between MCA and DAP, MCA refuses to cooperate with DAP in the next general election. If any BN component party cooperates with DAP in any form in the next general election, it would show that the BN spirit has effectively ceased to exist, and MCA will independently decide its new direction.
4) MCA will definitely contest in the upcoming general and state elections, and strive with full effort to earn the mandate of the people.
5) Strongly condemn extremists in both government and opposition parties, who repeatedly stir up racial and religious sensitivities for their own political agenda, creating ethnic division and undermining national unity, which is highly irresponsible behavior.

【Government】

6) Condemn the government for continuously suppressing freedom of speech, which has hindered the people's and media's right to supervise and provide checks and balances on the government, and also violates the freedom of speech and right to information guaranteed by the Federal Constitution.
7) Urge the government to reduce the spending of huge amounts of public funds on vanity projects, and instead focus resources on public healthcare and education, in order to resolve the chronic problems of medical staff shortages in government hospitals and insufficient funding for public universities.
8) Urge the government to pay attention to foreign citizens abusing Malaysia's visa-free policy to enter the country for illegal work or commercial activities, using unfair and improper competitive methods to seize citizens' employment and business opportunities.

【Economy】

9) Urge the government to reinstate the Goods and Services Tax (GST) to ensure an effective, fair, stable, and transparent national tax regime.
10) Urge the government to further support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), optimize the business environment, and review the policy of requiring employers to make EPF contributions for foreign workers so as to alleviate cost pressures on businesses.
11) Urge the government to increase the individual income tax relief to at least RM12,000 to alleviate people's cost of living burden, as the current RM9,000 relief has not been adjusted since 2010 and no longer meets current needs.

【Education】

12) Urge the Prime Minister to replace the Minister of Education to ensure the office is held by someone capable of spearheading reforms that meet current needs. The current minister lacks reform determination, and his performance since taking office has proven him incompetent, including failure to resolve bullying and violence in schools, imposing unreasonable restrictions on fundraising activities and rental of halls for Chinese schools, failing to clearly allocate funding for all streams of schools in the budget, and failing to address the shortage of teachers.
13) Urge the government to review the current national university admission mechanism and scrutinize the commercialization of university admissions to ensure students from diverse backgrounds receive fair treatment, and to retain top talent in the country.
