(Bandar Seri Begawan, 17th) Brunei's Sports School held a graduation ceremony yesterday, where a total of 44 students received the Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level and International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for 2024.
The principal of Brunei Sports School, Hajah Nor Aisah, attended the event to present the certificates.
During the ceremony, awards were given to students for outstanding achievement in the GCE 'O' Level and IGCSE 2024 exams, including those who obtained five or more credits, as well as awards for students who achieved A* and A grades, best achievement in the Combined Science course, best achievement in the Combined Arts course, best sports performance award, and overall best student award.
Appreciation certificates were also awarded to the guiding teachers, including a special award to the Malay martial arts coach Muhammad Ajizai in recognition of his contributions to international sports performance. The athletes he coached won silver and bronze medals at the ASEAN School Games held in Da Nang, Vietnam.
