Singapore’s port has once again received international recognition, clinching the 'World’s Best Seaport' award for the fourth time and the 'Asia’s Best Seaport' award for the 37th time at the 2025 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards ceremony.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore announced the news in a statement on the 3rd.
This annual awards ceremony, held in Hong Kong, is organized by the Asian logistics publication Asia Cargo News. The Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards (AFLAS) aim to recognize logistics and supply chain companies that have demonstrated excellence in service, innovation, and reliability. Winners are nominated and voted for by more than 15,000 readers.
Mr. Teo Eng Dih, Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, said that these awards showcase the collective efforts of industry stakeholders, international partners, the research community, and unions. "We will continue to be committed to developing Singapore as a global hub port and international maritime centre. Singapore will strive to maintain its position as the preferred port of call for shipping."
