The Tripartite Talks Among Russia, the US, and Ukraine Just Concluded; US-Iran Nuclear Negotiations To Begin

Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on social media on the 5th that the Ukrainian negotiating team had reported to him on the two-day tripartite talks among Ukraine, the US, and Russia held in Abu Dhabi. The next round of talks is planned to be held in the near future, most likely in the United States.

Zelensky said he was waiting for the Ukrainian delegation to give him a full report on the talks, "Many aspects are not suitable to discuss over the phone."

No Substantial Progress Achieved

The tripartite talks among Ukraine, the US, and Russia concluded on the 5th in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, after two days. No substantial progress was made on core issues such as territory and ceasefire, nor was any joint statement issued on related political or security topics.

Multiple Countries Lobby US and Iran to Sign Non-Aggression Pact

Meanwhile, a new round of US-Iran nuclear negotiations will be held on the 6th in Muscat, the capital of Oman.

Israeli media reported on the evening of the 5th that several Arab and Muslim countries are lobbying the US and Iran to sign a non-aggression pact during the negotiations on the 6th.

According to a report from The Times of Israel citing two diplomats from Middle Eastern countries, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Oman, the UAE, and Pakistan will participate in the US-Iran talks held on the 6th in Muscat, the capital of Oman. These countries have drafted a framework agreement for the US and Iran, which includes mutual pledges not to target each other in attacks.
