Indian tycoon Kapur collapsed and passed away during a polo match in England at the age of 53. The cause of death was a bee entering his mouth during the polo event, which stung him, further triggering an anaphylactic shock that ultimately led to cardiac arrest.

Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of the global automotive components giant Sona Comstar.

According to comprehensive foreign media reports, this rare accident occurred on the 12th during a polo match held in England. Kapur suddenly fell during the event; witnesses told local media that before collapsing, Kapur said, "I swallowed something." Another informed source described, "He was vibrant, chatting and laughing, yet left the world in an instant."

Sona Comstar later confirmed Kapur's death, stating that the cause was a "sudden heart attack."

Kapur had a close personal connection with Prince William through their shared interest in polo. Not only a corporate leader, he was also known for his marriage to Indian Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor. The couple had one son and one daughter but divorced in 2016.

Karisma was one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood during the 1990s and early 2000s, receiving numerous accolades.

Ironically, just hours before Kapur's untimely death, he had posted on social media to express condolences for the victims of an Indian airline crash.

According to the international medical organization Mayo Clinic, only a small number of people experience rapid and severe allergic reactions to bee stings, known as anaphylactic shock, which requires immediate emergency treatment. When an allergic reaction occurs, it may cause difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness, and symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, all of which can be life-threatening.
