Since today (December 26) is Friday, Judge Dato Collin Lawrence announced an adjournment at 12:15pm and will resume court at 3:00pm to continue reading the verdict.
At 12:20pm, those attending the hearing began leaving the courtroom, and the legal team also left by car, awaiting to return at 3:00pm to continue listening to the verdict.
At 12:25pm, the car carrying Najib left, with supporters chanting "Hidup Najib" as the car departed to show their support for Najib.

Collin Lawrence responded that he must complete the verdict for this case today (December 26), but considering that today is Friday, the court agreed to a short break to allow Muslims to perform their Friday prayers before continuing with the verdict.
Before the adjournment, Shafee asked the judge how much more time was needed to finish reading the verdict. Collin Lawrence said he would still need about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the reading.
