Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated on the 24th that Iran hopes to reach a just and fair agreement as soon as possible.

He said on social media: "Iran will restart negotiations with the United States in Geneva based on the consensus formed in previous talks, and is determined to reach a just and fair agreement in the shortest possible time."

He pointed out that Iran's position and fundamental principles are extremely clear: under no circumstances will Iran develop nuclear weapons, and it will never give up its right to peacefully use nuclear technology.

He stated that Iran and the US have a "historic opportunity to reach an unprecedented agreement."

He said: "An agreement is within reach, but the prerequisite is that diplomatic means must be prioritized."

Omani Foreign Minister Badr confirmed on the 22nd that a new round of negotiations between the US and Iran is scheduled to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, on the 26th.

The second round of indirect talks between the US and Iran was held in Geneva on the 17th.
