Three Women Use Identical Suitcases, Mistakenly Take Each Other's After Flight

Three women on the same flight used identical suitcases, and ended up taking each other's after landing.

According to a report by Huanqiu.com, Ms. Xie from Guangzhou, China, recently shared this bizarre travel experience on social media, posting photos and saying, "The police officer said it's the first time in over ten years he's encountered such a case."

Ms. Xie explained that in the early hours of the 5th of this month, after landing at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and retrieving her luggage to go home, she discovered the suitcase she took was not hers: although it was the same model as her own, none of the items inside belonged to her.

Shortly after Ms. Xie contacted the airport, Woman A (pseudonym) called Ms. Xie, saying they had taken each other's suitcases by mistake, and they arranged to meet and exchange.

To Ms. Xie's surprise, just as she was heading downstairs to get a taxi to the agreed location, a police officer from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport called, saying that Woman B (pseudonym) had taken her suitcase, and that for the sake of everyone's property security, they needed to meet together at Baiyun Airport to confirm face-to-face, check and retrieve their suitcases.

Once at the Baiyun Airport police station, Ms. Xie learned that it was actually Woman B who took her suitcase, Ms. Xie took Woman A's, and Woman A took Woman B's.

Ms. Xie told reporters that all three of their suitcases were the same model, and they were all on the same flight. It was only after getting home, over an hour later, that she found out she had taken the wrong suitcase.
