Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar stated that the government's meeting with the UK-based Arm Holdings Limited demonstrates that clear policies like the National Semiconductor Strategy and various advantages of our country continue to make Malaysia a major destination for foreign investment.
In a Facebook post, Anwar said that during this meeting, Arm Holdings Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Will Abbey, along with Economy Minister Datuk Seri Rafizi, exchanged views on the future direction of computer technology to consolidate Malaysia's position as an important hub for the semiconductor and data center ecosystem.
“Arm Holdings, headquartered in the UK, is a global leader in central processing unit (CPU) technology, playing a significant role in shaping the future of global computing.
“The company is also the architect, developer, and licensor of high-performance, low-cost and energy-efficient intellectual property solutions.”
